I shared previously that I have a book signing at Barnes & Noble scheduled for Southeast Missouri on July 22. On Thursday, I received approval to do a signing at the Hudson Area Library in Hudson, NY, where I lived, attended church, and taught for more than 17 years. That event will take place on August 20 from 1-3 p.m. Purchase the book at the signing for $16.00. Cash and credit/debit cards will be accepted. (No personal checks please).
I will donate 25% of book sale proceeds to the Hudson Children’s Book Festival (HCBF), which is a great program in the Hudson City School District that exposes children to authors and their books. It’s a worthy cause I have always believed in and still support, though I no longer teach in the district and have moved out of the state. As a new author, I am proud to support the HCBF in this way.
If you are in New York, New Jersey, or anywhere in the vicinity–or if you’re in the mood for a road trip–join us on August 20. Aunt Alma is planning to be there to sign books also. We would be honored to meet you, sign your copy of the book, and give you a couple goodies.
